CIMNE - International Center of Numerical Methods in Engineering

The International Center for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE) is an autonomous research and development center dedicated to promoting and fostering advances in the development and application of numerical methods and computational techniques for the solution of engineering problems in an international context. Additionally, CIMNE organizes a wide range of activities aimed at the teaching and spreading of knowledge, such as courses, seminars, conferences and publications.

HIRF-SE. Hight Intensity Radiated Field Synthetic Environment

HIRF Synthetic Environment research project has the goal to provide to the aeronautic industry a numerical modelling computer framework which can be used during the development phase (including upgrade), in order to ensure adequate electromagnetic performance, but also in addition and in a considerable reduction to certification/qualification testing phase on air vehicles. + info

MRECT. Multiscale reinforcement of semi-crystalline thermoplastic sheets and honeycombs

The M-RECT project aims to create multiscale-reinforced semi-crystalline thermoplastics (PEEK and PPS), which will outperform all reinforced polymers in terms of strength, stiffness, creep and mainly damping by up-scaling and further developing state of the art production methods, within cost-efficient manufacturing routes. + info
