GEOMODELS: Geologic simulation
The project was carried out Geomodels design and subsequent manufacture of a simulator of geological phenomena in charge of geology at the University of Barcelona. This project allows to simulate different geological behaviors that occur on Earth on a small scale and in no time. Thus, processes that are slow to occur thousands of years (creating faults, mountains, valleys, movement of tectonic plates, etc..) Can be recreated in the simulator and get a detailed study in a few days. The system is designed to be flexible and versatile, so you can adapt to multiple different geometries Video

LEVA:Design of a test bench for replacements.
The LEVA project is the completion of the design, implementation and validation of a machine capable of testing strips to test applying a force through a series of weights. A cam is a mechanical element that was subject to an axis and has an ovoid-shaped contour, thus the rotation of the shaft causes the cam profile or contour of touch, move, push or connect a piece known as a follower. Banks test strips tend to rotate the element to be studied with a probe into contact without any offers for this radial force, the project introduces the novelty of being able to do tests to validate what the pressure will be removed at any time by applying a force on the probe with the aid of a paint brand cam.
